Nov. 14th, 2013 01:56 pmI think I blew it. Tezuka died today—I wasn't there fast enough to save him. But that's not the reason.
Kido seems to be taking it even harder than I thought, and... He seemed like he was trying to prevent it—probably because of Tezuka's predictions. I tried to tell him that Tezuka understood the risks and that whatever he might think, it's not his fault that this happened, but it came out more like I didn't care. Not sure how to feel, to be honest.

Things just got more complicated. Kido got arrested. I hired a lawyer that his coworkers recommended, but he's another Rider. He's probably trying to keep Kido in prison to get an edge in battle.
I'll warn him, but...it sounds like things are getting to him enough. HIs boss said he was acting weird—even for him. Deja vu or something. I'll keep an eye on him, but until I can get this lawyer off him, we're both stuck.

Clearly, they've never met the guy in gold before, and for some reason it's Ryuki, they decide to attack him, starting with the guy in purple. Who promptly gets his ass handed to him. The guy in green tries to attack, with Ren backing him up, but the guy in gold is too strong and easily defeats them. Even Shinji, standing away from the fight, is getting his butt kicked, since the guy in gold teleports over to attack him.
But after enough of a one-sided fight, the gold Rider summons his weapon and scans a card.]

Taking care of a kid right now, and I'm not sure how long it'll be for, so if anyone's got babysitting tips, I'm listening. The kid's about 11. I left him with Kido for right now, but I'm sure something's going to happen. And leaving him on his own is out of the question since a Monster's after him.
